Pause, postpone, or skip

Choose what happens when you need to stop or delay a run.

While a run is open

Open the current run in Today. The available actions depend on whether you are viewing a step, a list item, or an ordered sequence.

  1. Pause keeps the run where it is. It appears in the paused dock. Resume is offered for the top paused run when it is not waiting for current work or an event.
  2. Postpone opens time choices. Before a run starts, it delays the due item. During a run, the result depends on the current step; an ordered sequence may offer Pause or Abort instead.
  3. Skip advances past a step and records it as skipped when that action is available. Ordered steps do not offer Skip.

Change future runs

Open the subroutine from Library to edit its steps. In its editor, turn off an attached trigger to stop it from queuing new work, or turn it on again later. This does not delete the subroutine or its recorded history.
